Day 1: God Became Flesh
Reading: John 1:14
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
The Incarnation is the foundation of our faith—God Himself took on flesh and became human. Jesus didn’t just put on a physical body; He fully embraced humanity, experiencing hunger, sorrow, and joy. He walked among us, showing us the Father’s glory and offering grace and truth.
Reflection:
- How does knowing that Jesus understands your humanity bring you comfort in hard times?
- In what ways can you make room for His presence in your daily life?
Prayer Prompt:
Thank Jesus for stepping into our brokenness and fully understanding what it means to be human. Ask Him to reveal His grace and truth in your life today.
Memory Verse: Romans 3:23—for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
