Seek Week Notes:
Main Theme: Seeking God actively and intentionally is vital for our spiritual lives. He invites us to come and talk with Him.
Key Verse: Psalm 27:8 NLT – My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’
Why Seek God?
He has a plan for you: (Jeremiah 29:11-14)
He desires a relationship with you: (Psalm 27:8)
He will provide for your needs: (Matthew 6:25-34)
He will bring you back from spiritual captivity: (Jeremiah 29:14)
How to Seek God – The 60 Minute Prayer Wheel (4 x 15 minutes or variations):
I. Praise & Worship (15 minutes):
Purpose: Creates an atmosphere where God’s presence is welcomed.
Action: Listen to worship music and focus on God’s goodness.
Scripture: Psalm 100:2, 4; Psalm 22:3

II. Confession (15 minutes):
Purpose: Clears the path for intimacy with God by removing obstacles of unconfessed sin.
Action: Humbly confess your sins and shortcomings to God.
Scripture: Hosea 10:12; 1 John 1:9
This Week: Take time to reflect on your actions and honestly confess your sins to God.
III. Thanksgiving (15 minutes):
Purpose: Shifts the focus from our needs to God’s provision, reducing anxiety and stress.
Action: Express gratitude to God for His blessings in your life.
Scripture: Psalm 105:3b-5a

IV. Pray Scripture (15 minutes):
Purpose: Aligns our hearts with God’s Word and helps us understand His will.
Action: Choose a verse or passage and pray it back to God.
Scripture: Psalm 119:18
This Week: Select a verse that resonates with you and pray it throughout the week.
Challenge: Commit to seeking God intentionally for one hour this week, using the 60 Minute Prayer Wheel as a guide. Respond to His invitation to “Come and talk with Me.”
Remember:
Be persistent: Seeking God is a marathon, not a sprint.
Be intentional: Schedule time for seeking God and stick to it.
Be expectant: God promises to be found by those who seek Him with all their heart.

What area of my life needs to be surrendered to God?
What am I most thankful for?
How can I incorporate scripture into my prayers this week?
How can I better hear God’s invitation to “Come and talk with Me”?
