📖 Scripture: John 12:4-6 (NLT)
“But Judas Iscariot, the disciple who would soon betray him, said, ‘That perfume was worth a year’s wages. It should have been sold and the money given to the poor.’ Not that he cared for the poor—he was a thief…”

💡 Devotional:
Greed subtly poisoned Judas’s heart, ultimately leading him away from Jesus. While Judas appeared concerned for the poor, his true motivation was selfish. Greed turns our hearts inward, distancing us from God and others. Ask God today to reveal areas in your life where greed might be taking root. Confess these areas honestly and invite God to replace greed with gratitude and generosity.

📖 Memory Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) – “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
