Scripture: Mark 1:14-15 (NIV)
“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
The Kingdom of God is both now and not yet. Jesus declared that it had arrived, yet we still live in a broken world. We see glimpses of His Kingdom through healing, peace, and transformation, but we also experience trials and suffering. The tension of the “already and not yet” reminds us to live with expectation and faith—trusting that God is still at work, bringing His Kingdom to completion.
💭 Reflection:
- In what ways have you experienced the “already” of God’s Kingdom?
- How can you hold onto hope in the “not yet” moments?
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, I trust that Your Kingdom is at work even when I don’t see it. Help me to live with faith, knowing that You are restoring all things. Amen.
⭐ Memory Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
