π Scripture: Colossians 2:6-7 β βSo then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.β
π‘ Devotional:
Roots that run deep produce fruit that lasts. Just as a treeβs strength comes from its roots, our faith must be deeply planted in Christ. Laura Dekkerβs journey around the world required sacrifice, endurance, and an unwavering commitment to her goal. She counted the cost and pursued what she valued most.
Likewise, following Jesus requires deep spiritual roots. Shallow faith will not withstand the storms of life. Are you cultivating a faith that can endure hardship and produce lasting fruit?
π Reflection: What areas of your spiritual life need deeper roots? Are you consistently feeding your faith through prayer, scripture, and community?
π Memory Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) β “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
