Scripture:
“Whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.”
— Matthew 16:25 (ESV)

Devotional:
Jesus’ Kingdom is an upside-down Kingdom. The world says, “Look out for yourself. Get ahead. Chase success.” But Jesus says, “Give up your life, and you will find real life.”

Surrender is scary, but it is also freeing. When we stop grasping for control and trust Jesus completely, we experience true joy, peace, and purpose. Death to self isn’t the end—it’s the beginning of the abundant life Jesus promises.

Reflection:
What is one area of your life where you need to surrender control to Jesus? What step can you take today to truly live for Him?

Memory Verse:
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
