Scripture:
“Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.”
— Ephesians 5:1 (NLT)

Devotional:
Who we follow determines who we become. If we constantly consume the culture of this world—its values, priorities, and desires—we will inevitably reflect it. But if we fix our eyes on Jesus, we will begin to imitate Him.

The German church in the 1930s drifted from truth because they listened more to their culture than to Christ. The same danger exists today. Social media, entertainment, and news can shape our thinking in ways we don’t even realize. But Jesus calls us to a different path—one where we model our lives after Him, not the world.

Reflection:
Who has the loudest voice in your life? Are you imitating Jesus or the culture around you?

Memory Verse:
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
