Scripture:
“And in Antioch, the disciples were first called Christians.”
— Acts 11:26 (ESV)

Devotional:
The early followers of Jesus were so different from the world that they were given a new name—Christians. They lived in a way that set them apart. In a city filled with immorality, greed, and idol worship, they stood out because they imitated Jesus.

In today’s world, the pressure to conform is strong. We want to fit in. We want to be liked. But Jesus calls us to be different. Being a Jesus person means more than just believing in Him—it means walking in His ways, loving radically, giving generously, and forgiving even when it’s hard.

Reflection:
Does your life reflect the character of Jesus? Would others recognize you as a follower of Christ by the way you live?

Memory Verse:
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
