Scripture: Mark 1:14-15 (NIV)
“Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. ‘The time has come,’ He said. ‘The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!'”

Jesus’ arrival changed everything. He wasn’t just a good teacher—He was the King reclaiming His rightful throne. He came to restore the brokenness of sin, to heal wounds, and to set captives free. His message was simple: Repent, because the Kingdom is here!

Repentance isn’t about guilt—it’s about turning away from the kingdom of darkness and stepping into the Kingdom of God. It’s an invitation to surrender our way for His way, to trade sin for grace, and to live under His reign.

Memory Verse:
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
“Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

Reflection:

  • What areas of your life do you need to surrender to Jesus?
  • How does knowing that Jesus is King change the way you live?

Prayer:
Jesus, I repent. I turn away from my sin and turn toward You. Thank You for inviting me into Your Kingdom. Help me to live fully surrendered to Your rule and reign. Amen.
