Scripture: Genesis 1:31 (NIV)
“God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.”
God created the world with beauty, love, and perfect peace. Everything was exactly as it was supposed to be. The relationships between God, humanity, and creation were whole and flourishing. But something went wrong. The enemy whispered lies, and humanity chose self over God, fracturing this perfect peace. We still feel the effects of that today—broken relationships, suffering, and sin.
Yet, even in our brokenness, God is not distant. He has always had a plan to restore what was lost. From the very beginning, He set in motion a way for His Kingdom to come again. The question is: Are we willing to embrace it?
Memory Verse:
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
“Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
Reflection:
- Where in your life do you feel the effects of brokenness?
- How does knowing that God is restoring His Kingdom give you hope?
Prayer:
Father, I see the brokenness around me, but I also trust in Your plan for restoration. Help me to live with hope, knowing that You are making all things new. Amen.
