6th Week – Day 5: Embracing Prayer and His Call
Reading: Mark 1:35–37

35 Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray. 36 Later Simon and the others went out to find him. 37 When they found him, they said, “Everyone is looking for you.”

Reflection:

In the quiet of early morning, Jesus sought solitude to pray and strengthen His spirit. His example reminds us that prayer is the source of true authority and spiritual strength. Even now, at the right hand of the Father, Jesus intercedes for us. His call remains as powerful today as it was then. As you meditate on this truth, listen for His call in your life and be ready to respond.

Prayer Prompt:

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus to intercede on my behalf. Help me to cultivate a prayerful life, knowing that in prayer I find strength, guidance, and renewed purpose. I am ready to answer Your call—lead me and empower me to live fully for You. Amen.

Memory Verse:
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! – 2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV
