Day 4: God Is With Us
Reading: Matthew 1:23
“‘They will call him Immanuel’ (which means ‘God with us’).”
Through the Incarnation, God did not remain distant from our pain—He entered it. He walked alongside us, experiencing life’s struggles and joys. Even now, through the Holy Spirit, He is with us in every trial, offering comfort, guidance, and strength.
Reflection:
- When have you experienced God’s presence in a difficult situation?
- How can you be a reminder of God’s presence to someone else today?
Prayer Prompt:
Thank God for being Immanuel—God with us. Invite Him into your struggles and ask for a deeper awareness of His presence in your life.
Memory Verse:
Romans 3:23—for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
