Cross Points Church Family,
Due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus and based on the advice of the Johnson County Board of Commissioners who have declared a state of emergency in Johnson County and have prohibited gatherings of 10 or more, Cross Points will not meet in our physical location, however…
WE WILL HAVE SERVICES ONLINE
This Sunday, March 22 at 9 and 11am.
We encourage you to join us this Sunday as we worship, pray and are encouraged together. We are blessed that technology allows us the ability to still gather as a church. Even amidst this situation, we look forward to church at home this Sunday. We look forward to seeing you online!
We believe that it is in the best interest of our community that we take every precaution and safety measure possible, and are diligent to follow the council of our health and government officials. People are the best part of our community, you are our priority, and we want to do everything possible in slowing the spread of the virus.
We will continue to update you as this situation develops. We are so thankful for your flexibility and understanding during this time. When situations like these arise, Cross Points has always shown that you are a community ready to respond. Our hearts and prayers are with those affected and we will continue to pray for resolution. We love you and we’ll see you Sunday for church at home.

Pastor David Jones
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:6-7)
The Cross Points Church building is closed to all outside groups and meetings through the end of March. At this point, our staff will be working in the office. If you need to contact us please do so by phone at 913-631-1100 or message us on our facebook page.
For Families with Kids
Please know that your families will continue to be in our prayers as we navigate this season together. Our hope is to keep your kids and students engaged by providing CPC Sunday morning resources just for them.
This Sunday, March 22, Pastor Andy will share a short five-minute devotion for children during our Sunday online service (immediately following worship and before Pastor Nick preaches).
In addition, here are three resources you can use at home:
RightNow Media – Please use your access to the video resource, RightNow Media. As a member of Cross Points Church, this resource is free! If you have not registered click the link above.
Parents and CPKIDS – The staff has created several channels within RightNow Media specifically for Parents and CPKids. This week, Pastor Andy added three new videos specifically dealing with fear in the CPKids channel. This is a good place to start with your children. Click link above.
ParentCue – This is a free website and/or app to inspire and challenge the parenting of your child’s (birth – teen years) spiritual, physical and emotional development.
Within the Parent Cue site you’ll find great information on how you can relate to your children with the anxiety they are facing right now.
Studio252.tv – Your children have come to love the videos shown at CPKids. All of these videos are available here!
